The real estate research firm, Clear Capital, predicted a property value rebound for the Portland metro area of 1.9% in 2012.  Check out the full OregonLive.com article.  This prediction doesn't sound unrealistic to me since we've got such a low inventory of houses on our market right now.  Check out this link for more details on our most recent market stats:  How's the Market?

Portland's inventory is pretty low right now, and many lenders did not initiate new foreclosures during the holidays, all this might lead to some great new listings in the very near future.  If some of this inventory doesn't start hitting the market soon, I'm not sure what we're going to be selling when the Spring buying season kicks in!

 Crazy!  The November RMLS real estate stats just came out.  This year’s activity is blowing last year out of the water and our inventory of houses is quite low.  Compared to last year the prices are down, but the month-to-month comparison shows the median sale price up by 3.3% over October.

 RMLS just released their latest market stats for July, 2011.  Highlights include an increase from a 6 month to 7 month inventory* of houses for sale.  This isn’t bad considering that our Spring buying season is winding up and that having a 6 month inventory (in June) was pretty stellar.  A 7 month inventory is pretty great too. 

Stop by 2127 NW Irving ST (at 21^st AVE – near Cinema 21) this Sunday, the 14^th.  I’ll be holding an open house from 2-3.  The sellers just had a second price reduction on this super charming 2-bedroom condo.  It’s now priced at only $329,000, which is a steal for a condominium this size (with parking!) in this awesome neighborhood.
